No.1 ITC Sinde Occupational Safety Health (OSH) Policy is established for the purposes of protecting the safety and health of the administration of the training center and is committed to providing a crean health enviroment in the campus and be an environmentally responsible member of the community.
Mandatory Safety Training
Staff and students shall be adequately trained to ensure their competency in the training center., such as rick assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response.
Safety Training Courses and any other appropriate safety related training courses based on prevailing legislation & the findings of the risk assessments.
Personal protective Equipment (PPE) requirement
Teachers and students involved in workshop practical lessons are to use appropriate PPE such as head, hand, face, eye, hearing protections.
Proctive identifications and controls Hazards
Make reasonable effort to eliminate or reduce accidents, by conducting risk assessment and implement risk controls durin their practical work.
Conduct 5S housekeeping regularly to eliminate or reduce hazards in the training center.
Incident and Accident investigation
All incidents and accidents are to be investigated to determine the root cause(s) so as to avoid a recurrence.
Emergency Response Planning
Staff members, students and visitors are communicated, trained and aware of their roles and responsibilities and what to do during an emergency.
Emergency evacuation drills are conducted as per schedule and plan
